If your AC needs a recharge every year, it has a leak. Topping it off is renting cold air, not fixing anything, and the refrigerant ends up in the atmosphere.
We look for the leak first. Sometimes it's a twelve-dollar O-ring. Sometimes it's a compressor and we'll tell you what that costs before we start.
